Doing our part to flatten the curve

It is out of a sense of commitment to the health and well-being of our community that we are announcing to you that after 6 PM today, Saturday, March 21, Artmart will be closed to the public for the time being, with plans to reopen our doors as soon as it’s safe for our staff members and customers to join us again. These are unprecedented times, and we want to do our part to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 and keep our staff, our customers and our community healthy.

GETTING ART SUPPLIES – It’s day to day

At Artmart, we recognize the importance of creativity in our lives, both as an activity to enjoy and entertain, and as an outlet for stress.

As a child I always remember enjoying the movie “Miracle on 34th Street” in which Kris Kringle recommends steering customers from Macy’s to their largest competitor to find what they need for the joy and happiness of their family. He tells Macy’s (Artmart) that when a customer goes to Gimbel’s (Blick Art Materials), they will always come back to shop at Macy’s. With this in mind and our recognition of your need to create, please call Blick Art Materials at 314-862-6980. They will be taking curbside orders at their store on Delmar Blvd.

Thank you for your loyalty to ours and other local businesses. We will be posting on Instagram and Facebook great project ideas, videos, and content to inspire you. We will also be making every attempt to reach out to you remotely to see how you are doing.

Please stay safe and healthy, and keep creating! And, we can’t wait to see you again soon.
